No, strip surgery is not old. In fact most good clinics use this method (also known as follicular unit transplantation). Old surgery methods are plugs and mini-micro-grafts. FUE is not new, nor is it the best. In fact, those performing FUE don’t have the track record of consistent results and growth as does FUT (strip) when performed by Hasson & Wong.

Is your head skin or sculp going to be streched out after the donor area was removed? Or are you going to put the strip back on the donor area after you take the donor hairs out??

Hasson and Wong are the best in the business in my opinion. I had 3 transplants with alan bauman in boca raton florida and my results were very disappointing

I would assume it’s hard to “compare” results, because no one has the same amount of hair on donor area’s and the same coarseness. Also is this guy showed just from the front with a comb-overish kind of hairdo. You do not see him from the side or back. The thing is that anyone just has a certain amount of donor hair, and whoever performs the surgery (if it does not fail) will have more or less the same amount of hair on the head theoreticly. What makes their results better?

I always understand that hairlines have alot to do with the doctors ‘craft’ , because creating a hairline depends on where to locate the hair. But with filling up the other bald area’s , I would say (just simplified) that if the amount of hairs that will start to grow will be about the same with other doctors, the result will be the same too? Could someone define excactly what exactly made this result look better than others?

I understand your theory, but the assumption that same number of hairs transplanted by x and y clinic will yield the same results is false. The fact is that technique, artistry, knowledge of hair direction and angulation, seasoned support staff, have everything to do with results, it is not just the number of grafts transplanted. Very few clinics yield the same results as Hasson & Wong given the same number of hairs being transplanted.

Yes, there are many considerations, and one should compare apples to apples, but you have to look at all results of various sized sessions over years to assess the skill of a clinic or doctor. The overall consistency and growth comparing the entire clinic x results to clinic y results speaks volumes. By the way, there is a better video on the hassonandwong video gallery of the before / after results of this patient. It shows all angles. Can’t post the url in this reply (google won’t let me)

Bank loan, cosmetic surgery financing. People find a way for and experience that is life altering.
November 18th, 2009 at 3:01 am
I understand the cosmetic difference in how the density may be perceived as fuller or less full, and the location of the grafts placed is different. Do you mean the amount of relocated hairs will fail to grow on their new position is lower with them than (most) other clinics?
The problem with videos and even comments on youtube is that you never know who answers them. Just happy clients, or people behaving as clients in order to make a brand look good? the same goes for result videos…

Not accurate, sorry!

What would 2500 grafts cost?
December 2nd, 2009 at 4:48 am
About $12,000 USD

Hmm. Really not sure what the monthly payments are. The financing co isn’t associated with the clinic, but quite a few of our clients do it. Others get a personal line of credit (lower interest rates).

None are imposters. The clinic is just quite reknown for anyone who has considered a hair transplant.

Compared to strip, FUE is the newest procedure (about 6 years in North America), but HW considers that there is not a collective body of results of FUE procedures that can compare to the consistency of results achieved by Hasson & Wong. Compare results.
