www.GastricBypassTruth.com Everyone who has gastric bypass surgery is concerned about hair loss. Scalp massage helps increase blood flow to the scalp, getting more nutrients to your hair root to minimize loss and spark regrowth.
Thank you for this video. I didn’t go through by pass gastric surgery but I did go on a extreme crash diet that consisted of no protein and vitamins.
Basically low cal, greens, starvation. Lost 30kg of muscle, water, and some fat in under 3 months. Of course the biggest lost was my hair. Thinning day by day.
I’ve been eating healthy again and hitting resistance training at the gym everyday and so far things are good. Hair seem to growing back slowly though the… (continued)
crown still looks really thin which worries me the most. I almost went and used Rogaine (bought it and everything) but upon reading that once you use Rogaine you have to use it for life or else all “Rogaine Hair” will fall off.
I thought.. am I really losing hair from male pattern baldness or was it really the crash diet that caused it. One look at my brother whom is 13 years older than me tells me its defiantly not male pattern baldness. Returned the Rogaine and am so glad I did.
I’ve been pretty clear. I had surgery over 1 year ago, no I have not reached my goal weight but I have come very far. It’s a process.
I’m not “selling” anything. I put this out because it could help people.
There is no way to avoid losing some hair following gastric bypass surgery. But proper nutrition – getting all your vitamins and protein – can help minimize the loss and aid in faster regrowth. Massaging the scalp gets more of those nutrients to the hair root where they’re needed.
Anyone can do it – it certainly doesn’t hurt anything, and even if it doesn’t work for you it’s relaxing. But whether or not you get results from it depends on why you lost hair. I’m no expert on hair loss in general, so I don’t know the reasons behind male pattern baldness, for example. But if you’ve lost hair due to nutritional deficiencies, this should make a difference.
my dermatologist told me that since the hairloss is from surgery and not due to heredity, you can use rogaine temporarily and it will not fall out once you stop using it
I gained my hair back by wearing Alex Chiu’s Immortality Rings. My hairline went back to when I was 25. The rings really did help me gain lots of hair back.
